Cammack Family

I think it’s about time I start posting all of these great families I have worked with this fall.  I met this family last year for their family pictures; it’s so fun to see how much everyone has changed over the year… and these kids GREW UP!!!

Johnston Family

I grew up with Kyle since third grade and if you know him, you know there will be no shortage of laughs when he is around; put him and my husband together and we had a fun time.  Little James was not a fan of me though.  Poor guy didn’t want me to take a step near him, but he loved my husband for some reason.  He reached for him and snuggled with him…  Coby is always the favorite everywhere we go!  My favorite thing about this family was how natural they are in front of the camera.  It isn’t an easy thing for a lot of people to do, but they had it down.  ….and Shadolyn….  GORGEOUS!

Dave and Jenna – October Wedding

I know lots of family, especially those who don’t live near by are waiting to see some of these pictures.  I have known Jenna since third grade and am so happy she found Dave.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your day you guys.  I wish you all the happiness and love that’s possible.

Happy Haunted Halloween

Here is just a little peek at my mom’s Halloween decorations this year. These pics do NOT do her decor justice at all. Halloween is her thing and she does some pretty cool things with it. If you know where she lives and are close, come by for a little spooky trick or treating.  Have a safe and haunted Halloween night!

Hawkins Family

This session was my first in Payson last week.  It was so therapeutic to have sessions in the mountains.  The leaves were changing, it was cooler, and it was nice to get out of the same old spots here in the valley.  Let’s face it, Arizona doesn’t have a plethora of gorgeous green spots for shoots.

I love this family!  They were so fun and so easy to photograph.  It really is harder for people to be “natural and candid” in front of the camera than it looks, but these guys were in their element.  Piece. of. cake.  Plus this momma worked for this shoot.  Like 90% of husbands, this one is not a total fan of having his picture taken, but he sure does love to hunt.  The week before our session she went on her first elk hunt and rocked it.  She shot an elk, I got to shoot their pictures… now that is a compromise.

We went up super early to be there for some pretty morning light and let me tell you, it delivered.

Remember how I told you dad was a hunter?  Well I have some tricks up my sleeve to get kids to be happy and laugh, but I did not come prepared for this little guy.  Mom did though and this is the smile I got right after mom whipped out a hunting magazine.  Yes… a hunting magazine.  When the deer on the cover got old, we just found a new deer inside.  It was like Christmas!  And mom’s deer ring… also a major hit.  Like father like son.
